As babies and young children we experience the same full range of emotions as an adult, however, at this stage of life we are usually too immature or have a lack of understanding about what we are experiencing in order to voice our emotions or deal with them effectively. As a result, the childs natural protection mechinism stores these stressful emotions in the subconcious until such a time they can be addressed. This underlying stress plays like a record and can often be expressed throught the child in other ways:
Physically – in the form of disorders, disease, illness and pain.
Emotionally – ‘acting out’, sleep problems, separation anxiety, anxiety, anger etc, behavioural issues.
Kinesiology gives the child a voice, the body tells us exactly what is causing the child stress and allows us to explore and release these emotions and any other possible contributing issues.
Our childhood years are pivotal in shaping the rest of our lives and who we become. Both positive and negative emotions, memories and experiences can be carried into adulthood affecting how we live our everyday life. By addressing the issues now we can hope that we are helping our children and providing them with a happier and healthier future.
Below are just some of the most common issues in which Kinesiology may help:
Urinary problems/bed wetting
Low self esteem/confidence
Traumatic birth issues
Exploring Subconsious belief patterns

In cases of young children where muscle testing is difficult, I practice surrogate testing via the mother or close family member on behalf of the child. In children between 5-10 years of age, surrogate testing can also be used if preferred. Should you wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to ask.
Please note: A Kinesiologist is unable to diagnose medical conditions or replace medical treatment. It may be used as a holistic way of facilitating the body's natural ability to heal itself.
